Our Story

Our Foundation

In the fall of 2021, God began stirring in the hearts of a few likeminded families who unified over a common mission to create an educational model that prioritized the two fundamental priorities they wanted most for their own children: 1) to know God, and 2) to know who they are in light of Him. These founding families had a dream to create something intentional and unique in New Braunfels: a classical, collaborative, Christian school that would promote academic excellence and character development within a schedule that promoted family togetherness and spiritual growth.  This sense of purpose and vision has guided every decision they’ve made since then.

Opening Our Doors

After many months of weekly board meetings, purposeful planning, diligent training, and an abundance of passionate prayer, The Classical School of New Braunfels opened its doors in August 2022 on the historic campus of St. Paul Lutheran Church, right in the heart of downtown New Braunfels.  Offering grades K-6 in that inaugural year, 43 students enrolled.  Every student that first year represented a family committed to the same vision, willing to join in pioneering a new way of educating their children.  Since that time, God has continued to draw people into what He is doing at TCS.  TCS is a burgeoning community of families on a mission to disciple and educate their children together for the glory of God and the good of our community.

Expanding Our Footprint

In the 2025-2026 school year, TCS will offer grades Kindergarten through nine, with the intent to add a grade every school year to build out a full K-12 program.  We will graduate our first senior class in 2029.

As we have grown, St. Paul Lutheran Church has continued to generously accommodate our expanding footprint. We are so grateful for their gracious partnership in this mission.

Psalm 127:3-4

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth.
